The Name is Stiller. Eran Stiller. (Take 2)

I opened my personal blog about 3 years ago in order to share my experiences as a software consultant and to tell of interesting thoughts and ideas I have. I actually wrote some posts from time to time, but then something happened to me that has unfortunately happened to many other bloggers along the road as well – I stopped blogging…

The reasons were various and mostly mundane, but the major reason was that building a company takes a lot of time and effort. As my energies were focused at getting CodeValue up on its feet, I started neglecting other aspects of my professional activity with my blog being one of the casualties. Today, with CodeValue stronger than ever and after taking some time off for myself – I spent 4 months in South-Korea, Japan and China (an awesome and highly recommended experience) – I’d like to take this chance and start this blog over.

For those of you who don’t know me, I am a senior software architect and Co-Founder at CodeValue. I practice software architecture at various clients on an almost daily basis, reviewing many designs in many professional fields. In addition, I perform software consultations on various topics including .NET internals, multi-threaded programming, performance issues, WCF, WF, Win32 API and many others. In my blog I intend to highlight special and interesting architectural questions I encounter during my work as well as technological anecdotes which could help others in their software development work.

I took this chance to completely refresh my blog’s look and feel at https://eranstiller.com, and I hope you enjoy the result (feedback is welcomed!). As usual, all of my blog posts will continue being cross-posted on Microsoft Israel’s Blogging Community so if you’re subscribed to one or more of the feeds there then you’ll keep seeing my posts as usual.

Cheers,
Stiller
